Meet Andrew Rook – Founder & Builder
Hi, I’m Andrew Rook, the owner and builder behind Rook Building.
I was born and raised in Newcastle and have been in the building industry since 1990. After completing Year 11, I began my journey as an apprentice bricklayer in 1991 and went on to work in architectural home construction, learning every aspect of the trade—from tying steel and pouring concrete to framing, plastering, tiling, and finishing interiors.
Over the years, I gained experience in all aspects of house construction, renovations, and maintenance work, eventually launching Rook Building in 2016. Since then, I’ve built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship, honest service, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Today, I run the business alongside my wife Kerrina, who manages the administration and marketing, all while raising our two young boys.
